Merck Fools Another Jury on Vioxx

A California jury has found in favor of Merck in Vioxx. The case was filed on behalf of an elderly man who suffered a heart attack as a result of taking Vioxx. Despite all of the evidence to the contrary, the jury determined that Merck did not conceal information nor did Vioxx cause his health problems. This is one of over 2000 lawsuits filed in California. Thousands of cases are also pending in New Jersey and New Orleans.
