Vote No on Asbestos Bailout Bill

Tell your Senators to vote against the Asbestos Bailout Bill, S 3274. It is a $20 Billion corporate bailout for asbestos companies that knowingly poisoned people and makes it worse for asbestos victims.

It is virtually identical to the bill that the Senate wisely blocked in February. The proposed legislation fails to treat victims fairly while making taxpayers, not the wrongdoers, foot the bill. Numerous victims would be left with nothing and or face impossible bureaucratic hurdles. It may even prevent victims from obtaining workers' compensation benefits.
